On a hot summers day in June 2018 one of the most brutal shootings took place in a local south London Thamesmead estate four males were gunned down in a massacre of bloodshed that left one male dead and three others fighting for their life and left with life changing catastrophic injuries.
Police was called at 16:26pm by a witness that herd gunshots being fired and rushed to their window and saw the masked gunmen firing multiple shots at point blank range then seeing a male collapse to the ground ,the gunmen was seen driving away on a black motorcycle that was later recovered in the catford Lewisham area abandoned after being set on fire.
Paramedics rushed to the seen but only found one male suffering Gunshot wounds to the chest and head, later that day 3 more males was taken to queen Elizabeth hospital stadium road which had suffered wounds to stomach, face and arm were they had to be operated on while one was placed in a induced coma.
Three of the young men survived but Emmanuel owsu obaze 26 of southmere estate thamesmead passed away from a gunshot wound to the head.
Police arrested and charge a man from catford bosbury road 24 year old Luke kelly for the murder along with three other attempted murders and fire arms charges but the allegations was dropped by the crown prosecution service due to insufficient amount of evidence to proceed with the case and a trial, since then there has been no further arrest and the metropolitan police trident unit still proceeding to investigate while the case is still open and ongoing.
A spokesman for the metropolitan police said
"we are urging anyone with any information regarding this horrific incident to come forward to help us with our inquiry’s and make the streets a safer place as the danger of the suspect is still out there roaming the streets free after completing one the most brutal murders in history and left multiple family’s distressed with lost of there loved one and there needs to be justice served that will see family have closure and peace"
There will be a reward of 50.000 pounds for information leading to a conviction, please contact the metropolitan police ask for trident unit major crimes.
